Queries

The Access Control Assistant (ACA) provides additional powerful capabilities through the mechanism of queries. Using queries, the user can examine specific sets of elements.

To make a query, select a node, right click on the node to open the context menu and select Show [type of query]. For example, Show users assigned to this ACR group.

The following types of queries are available:

• For User nodes - query Teams containing the selected User.

• For Access Control Right (ACR) nodes - query Users having the selected ACR assigned, query ACR Groups containing the selected ACR.

• For Scope nodes - query ACRs having the selected Scope assigned.

• For Role nodes - query ACRs having the selected Role assigned.

• Query Roles that control access to specific element types. This query is available at the root Roles node and it lets the user specify a list of types for which the query is being made.
