Datasheet Template Properties

Use the Datasheet Template Properties window to modify the name, description, datasource and path of the currently selected database template in the Datasheets Explorer.

Name

Enter a name for the new datasheet template element (special characters or spaces are not permitted).

Description

Enter a brief description for the new datasheet template element.

Data Source

Select Add to display the Add Data Source window, then select the data source from the Add Data Source window.

Template File

Browse and navigate to the location of the file to be used as a basis of the new datasheet.

Disciplines

Select the discipline or disciplines that the template is to be used in.

Template File

Specifies the location of the Excel file that the template is to be based.

For External Calc Template

Defines if the template is to be used for external calculations.

Edit the template when finished

Specifies whether the template will be edited (i.e. whether the Database Template Editor will be opened) once finished.
