Description

Multiply or divide two numbers.

They can also be used as unary operators at the beginning of a parenthesized sub-expression.

Numeric underflow is not considered to be an error and neither is it flagged as a warning. The result returned is zero.

Side Effects

Units are consolidated across Multiply and Divide.

The dimension of the result of the expression is determined from the combination of all the values being combined.

For example, '1kg / (1m * 1m *1m )' will give a density of '1kg/m3'.

Example

2 * 3 -> 6.0

2 / 3 -> 0.666666666

Errors

Divide by zero.
