Copy and Paste Objects

Copies objects to a specified position on the same sheet.

The prompt Select objects to copy is displayed.

Note:
The prompt does not display if one or more objects are already selected.

Click to identify the objects to copy and press Enter.

The prompt Specify base point (Current mode: Single) or <Displacement> is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify a base point relative to which the objects are copied.

The prompt Specify the second point or <First point as displacement> is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the new location of the objects. The objects are copied to the new position relative to the specified base point.

If single mode is currently selected, the objects are moved and the command ends automatically. If repeat mode is selected, the prompt Specify the second point or <Finish> is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the new location of the objects. The objects are copied to the new position relative to the specified base point.

The prompt is repeated, multiple copies of the objects from the clipboard can be pasted.

Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.

Press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Repeat

Repeats the command which allows you to create multiple copies of the objects.

Displacement

Copies the objects relative to the zero point of the user coordinate system. Refer to Copy and Paste Objects using Displacement Position for further information.

Back

Undoes the last action.

Single

Creates a single copy of the objects.

First as displacement

The displacement between the copied object and the original is determined by the position of the base point in relation to the zero point of the user coordinate system.

Finish

Ends the command.
