Discipline specific PowerWheel commands are available when a P&ID drawing is open. The P&ID tile becomes available on the general PowerWheel when a P&ID drawing is open. Refer to General PowerWheel for further information.

Select Branch |
Selects the entire piping network segment. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are piping elements. |

Select Pipe |
Selects the entire piping network system. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are piping elements. |

Split Branch |
Splits the piping network system upstream or downstream at a centerline point or at the intersection of a centerline and inline component. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are piping elements. |

Merge Branches |
Merges two piping network segments contained in the same piping network system or different piping network systems. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are piping elements. |

Reverse Branch |
Reverses the piping network segment flow direction for the currently selected centerline on the drawing canvas. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are piping elements. |

Assign to Instrument |
Associates an instrument on the drawing canvas with other instruments. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are instrument elements. |

Assign to Loop |
Associates an instrument on the drawing canvas with an instrument loop. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are instrument elements. |

Assign to Equipment |
Associates an instrument on the drawing canvas with process equipment items. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are instrument elements. |

Assign to Process Line |
Associates an instrument on the drawing canvas with a process line. The functionality is only available if objects in the current selection are instrument elements. |
