Highlight Changes Between Sessions

Highlights changes to the currently selected grid between selected sessions or selected date stamps.

The Select Target and Base Version window is used to select a target session/stamp and a base session/stamp for comparison.

Use the Stamps tab to browse the available date stamps for selection.

Use the Sessions tab to browse the available sessions for selection.

Target Version

Specifies the target stamp/session for comparison. Click Set to populate the field with the currently selected stamp/session.

Base Version

Specifies the base stamp/session for comparison. Click Set to populate the field with the currently selected stamp/session.

Filter by selected DB number

Filters the display of available stamps/sessions.

If the check box is selected, only the stamps/sessions that match the Database (DB) number of the currently selected stamp/session are displayed.

If the check box is not selected, the display of available stamps/sessions is not filtered.

Differences between the selected sessions or stamps are highlighted. For example, if an element was added, modified or deleted after the base session but during or by the time of the target session, this is highlighted.

Different highlight colors are used for different types of changes. In the example, modifications are highlighted in yellow. new records are highlighted in green and deleted records are highlighted in red.
