Delete Selection

Deletes the currently selected object(s), duplicated objects and objects associated with the same tagged item from the drawing.
Alternatively, press the Delete key to delete the currently selected object(s) from the drawing.
Note:
Tagged items associated with the selected object(s) on the drawing canvas are deleted
from the project, or logically deleted if the option is on.
When the delete option is selected, a Confirm window is displayed by default, asking you to confirm the deletion by clicking OK or to cancel the deletion by clicking Cancel.
The following behaviour can be expected when a selection is deleted on a P&ID drawing.

The piping network segments associated with the selected centerlines are deleted. |

Select multiple components belonging to the same piping network segment or different piping network segments. |
The centerlines and piping components are deleted and the associated piping network segments are healed. |

Select a combination of centerlines and piping components belonging to the same piping network segment or different piping network segments. |
The centerlines and piping components are deleted and the associated piping network segments are healed. |

Select a secondary centerline. |
The piping network segment associated with the secondary centerline is deleted. |
