Modify Symbol

Rotation angle

Input a value in the field to define the rotation angle for the symbol.

Generation mechanism

Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the symbol geometry mechanism from the visual style.

Select Static from the drop-down list to generate symbol geometry which is not sized according to the size of the symbol label text.

Select By Template from the drop-down list to generate symbol geometry which changes size according to the size of the symbol label text.

Insertion point

Indicates the position of the symbol. Click to move the symbol.

You are prompted to Specify new position

Input values in the dimension and fields and press Enter or click to identify the symbol position.

Scale X

Input the scale factor in the field to define the scale for the symbol on the X axis.

Scale Y

Input the scale factor in the field to define the scale for the symbol on the Y axis.

Select from the drop-down list to define the visual layer of the symbol.

Visual style

Select from the drop-down list to define the visual style of the symbol.

Frame color

Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the symbol frame color from the visual style.

Select By Template from the drop-down list to inherit the symbol frame color from the symbol template.

Select By Layer from the drop-down list to inherit the symbol frame color from the visual layer.

Select from the drop-down list to define the color of the symbol frame. Alternatively, enter an RGB color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255.

Fill color

Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the symbol fill color from the visual style.

Select By Template from the drop-down list to inherit the symbol fill color from the symbol template.

Select By Layer from the drop-down list to inherit the symbol fill color from the visual layer.

Select from the drop-down list to define the fill color of the symbol. Alternatively, enter an RGB color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255.

Fill type

Select BBody from the drop-down list to align the symbol text with the bottom of the body.

Select HBody from the drop-down list to align the symbol text halfway up the body.

Select TBody from the drop-down list to align the symbol text with the top of the body.

Input a value in the field to define the substitute text for the symbol.

Text font
