Electrical and Instrumentation drawing attributes are set at drawing type and symbol level. Attributes may be set for Control Loop, Hookup, Termination and KOL/SLD drawings and templates and their symbols. They are especially useful for configuring automated Loop and Termination drawings.

Loop and Hookup Drawing and Template Settings

Settings for Loop and Hookup drawings include:

  • Connection point labels.

  • Symbol template variants (for left, right and tiers 1 to 3).

  • The minimum spacing between connectors.

  • The vertical spacing between dynamically inserted symbols, for example between multiple terminal strips in the same enclosure.

  • Whether or not individual cable cores are displayed.

  • Whether or not connections between terminals in the same and in different terminals strips, and connections to overall screen cable cores, are displayed.

Termination Drawing and Template Settings
