Reclassification Notifications

Use the Subscribe to Cross-discipline Notifications window to subscribe discipline teams to receive notifications for cross-discipline teams. All members of the subscribed teams will receive notifications and only teams managing distributed attributes should be subscribed.

Subscriptions and notifications are stored independently of engineering project data and are not deleted when a version of a project is deleted. Inconsistencies with notifications may arise in some circumstances:

• in evaluation phases where customers reuse and restore different versions of the same project, for example: when a tag created in a copy of a project does not exist in a restored copy of a project.

• when databases are reconfigures and database ids are changed

In these cases, it is advisable to clear notifications and subscriptions before the project is changed or the databases are reconfigured.
