Creates a multi-column report using table cells that are bound to a data source.

Create a new report.

Bind the report to a data source.

On the Toolbox, select a Label control.

Click on the PageHeader blank space to position the control and populate the label with a heading title.

On the Toolbox, select a Label control.

Click on the Detail blank space to position the control.

Drag and drop or use Smart tags to bind the attributes from the Field List tab of the Report Explorer window to the label control.

Click the Detail band on the report.

On the Properties window, click the Behavior tab.

Set the Column Count field to 3

Set the Column Spacing field to 20.

Set the Layout field to First Down, then Across.
The Detail band displays a grey area which indicates the available column width for the three columns and a blank area which indicates the column spacing.

Click the Print Preview tab to display the result.
