Piping Major Items Element

Primary Element

Description

The BRANCH is the key element for all routed piping in the Design model. It represents a two-ended entity whose route is defined by its Head, Tail and the sequence of Components (Members) between. A BRANCH Head or Tail may be connected to NOZZLEs, multi-way Components such as TEEs, or other BRANCH Heads or Tails. Alternatively, a Head or Tail may be positioned explicitly in space. (All the commands which control the Head and Tail attributes are described in Spooler Database.) The remaining BRANCH attributes are for:

  • Functional Use

  • Information storage
