Boundaries can be used to define an area of the drawing.
Boundaries are added to the drawing canvas by dragging from the Symbol Palette.
Boundaries are created as rectangles or outlines.

By default, a rectangular boundary is drawn, press the Down arrow button and select Outline to draw an outline boundary.

Associated Items
All class items positioned fully within or (optionally) partially within the boundary are associated with the boundary. The attribute that indicates the association is specified in the Configuration module. In the example, the skid reference attribute indicates the association between an item and a boundary.
To display the skid reference attribute, select the class item on the drawing canvas.
Open the Attributes window and navigate to the Skid Reference attribute.

If a class item is positioned within multiple boundaries, all boundaries are displayed in the Attributes window.
If the boundary is copied, all associated items are pasted on the drawing canvas with the boundary.
Refer to Draw Rectangles and Diamonds and Draw Clouds and Outlines for further information.
