Insert - Heat and Mass Balance Table Configuration Window

Inserts the Heat and Mass Balance (HMB) table for a selected Process Flow Diagram (PFD) drawing.

If you Open Process Flow Diagram and on the Simulation tab in the HMB area, select Insert, the Heat and Mass Balance Table Configuration window is displayed.

Streams

Lists the streams available on the selected PFD drawing.

Defines whether a stream is connsidered as part of the HMB table or not.

If you select a check box adjacent to a stream name, the attributes for the selected stream becomes available in the Attributes panel and the stream becomes part of the inserted HMB table on the PFD drawing.

If you do not select a check box, the stream does not become part of the inserted HMB table on the PFD drawing

Attributes

Lists the attributes of selected streams.

If you select the checkbox adjacent to a stream, the Attributes panel becomes populated.

If you have component groups defined (for more information, see Manage Component Groups for Streams), the groups are displayed in the Attributes panel as well.

Filter Attributes

Filters stream attributes.

Enter an attribute name to display this type of attribute in the list, for example, Mass Flow Rate.

Or Gas.

The filter field is not case sensitive: you can use uppercase and lowercase to enter an attribute.

Select all

Select all check boxes in the Attributes panel.

Clear all

Clears all check boxes in the Attributes panel.

OK

Closes the Heat and Mass Balance Table Configuration window and creates the HMB table according to the defined configuration on the PFD drawing. By default the HMB table is positioned.

You can now use the Modification Functionality for Heat and Mass Balance (HMB) Tables to move the table to the correct location or to resize the table, for example.
