Prepare Engineering Project for Import

Note:
If the plant area from the Simulation applications does not match with the an existing one in AVEVA Engineering, data will not be imported into AVEVA Engineering.

To prepare a project before import data from a simulation application

1. Display Plant Area Grid for Import.

2. Define Plant Area Tag.

3. Prepare Tag for Import.

4. Establish Correct Mapping.

The project is prepared to perform various workflows.
