Create Streams Manually

Prerequisite

• Create Process Flow Diagram Drawing.

To create streams manually

1. On the flow sheet, click All Symbols on the top left corner of the window to display the symbols library.

   

2. Enter Stream into the Search field to display only the stream symbols.

   

3. Drag and drop Primary Stream to the Sheet_01.

4. Click the right connector of the pump.

5. Click the top connector of the split

   

6. Click a connector of an existing element to the connector of the next element to create the stream.

   

7. Repeat the drag and drop of a primary stream until all items are connected.

   

   The mixer and the streams are not linked to the SIMITES (simulation items) yet.

   

   The Realized By ... attribute column is empty. You can Link Simulation Items to Functional Items using Realized By ... Attribute or Link Functional Items to Simulation Items using Inverse of Realized By ... Attribute.
