Update Data from AVEVA Engineering in AVEVA Process Simulation

Prerequisite

• Start AVEVA Process Simulation.

• Send Updated Data back to AVEVA Process Simulation.

• On the Engineering tab, make sure that:

  1. The Connection is setup properly (icon is green).

  2. Updated item is displayed in the Update from AVEVA Engineering field.

     

To update the data from AVEVA Engineering in AVEVA Process Simulation

1. Select the notification of available P1 item in Update from AVEVA Engineering field to make the Process notification icon available.

   

2. Click the Process notification icon.

3. Wait until the notification is loaded (about 1-2 minutes).

   

   and the notification disappears in Updates From AVEVA Engineering and the blue dot from the AVEVA Engineering tab.

4. On the Process tab, select the Snapshot window icon to display the Snapshot Manager window.

   

5. Select the Pro 1 snap shot.

6. On the Special button, select the arrow icon to display the context menu in which the Variable Specified Values (Revert) check box is preselected..

7. Select the Invariant Values check box.

8. Click Load.

9. Click Revert.

10. In the drawing area, double-click the pump to display the properties window.

    

    The new values from AVEVA Engineering are in now available and the other values are recalculated accordingly. You can now Send Updated Data from AVEVA Process Simulation to AVEVA Engineering and Update Automatically.
