Imports project defined rule sets and rules exported from a different project.
The import functionality is enabled when project defined rule sets or rules are selected
on the Manage rules window. On the Manage rules window, click
to display the Import rules window.
Use the Import rules window to define the rule sets and rules for import, and the source file directory.

Select all
Selects all rule sets and rules in the import tree view.
Clear selection
Deselects all rule sets and rules in the import tree view.
Import tree view
Displays the rule sets and rules that are available for import.
-
The check box adjacent to the rule sets and rules defines the imported data.
-
If the check box is selected, the rule set, or rule, is imported.
-
If the check box is not selected, the rule set, or rule, is not imported.
Source directory
Defines the location for the import file and populates the import tree view. Type an explicit location and filename in the field or click Browse.
Use the Open window to specify the folder and file from which the rule sets and rules are imported.
Import
Imports rule sets and rules into the Manage rules window.
Note:
If a combined rule is imported, both the definition of the combined rule and the rules
that it consists of are imported separately and added to the tree view.
If a rule is already present in the tree view, importing it again will not result in it being duplicated.
When the import is completed, error messages may display which provide information about any issues that occurred. Make sure all imported rules are valid.
The example displays received error messages indicating that the piping connection class and bore attribute are defined in the source project but are not present in the current project.

Refer to Rules for further information.
