Change the order of columns either by:

  • dragging and dropping them up and down the list of column names in the left-hand part of the window,

  • or by dragging and dropping them to the left and right in the graphical representation of columns in the right-hand part of the window.

Multi-level column headers can be created, columns can be grouped together under defined column headers.

Add Group

Right-click on a column name in the left-hand part of the window and select Add Group.

A column group header is added under the column name that is right-clicked with the default name of Group 1 (assuming it is the first group to be created).

If required, drag and drop the columns that are to be grouped under the new header onto its entry in the list. The new column group is displayed in the graphical representation of columns on the right-hand part of the window.

Add further groups as required. Groups can be created under other groups.

Rename Group

Right-click on a group and select Rename Group to rename a group.

Delete Group

Right-click on a group and select Delete Group to delete a group,. Columns and groups within the deleted group are not deleted. They are moved up a level in the list of columns/groups.

If required, columns can be pinned by default. To a pin a column, either click on the pin icon in the graphical representation, or with the Multi Level Headings checkbox unchecked, right-click on the column name in the list of columns and select Pin Column from the menu that is then displayed.

Options for unpinning the column and to remove the pinning icon from the column are also available on this menu.

Records with common attribute values can be grouped together by default. For example, records can be grouped according to their Description or Tag Number. This is achieved by dragging the column header into the grouping bar above the column headers.
