Change Ownership

Associates selected centerlines with a different owning piping network segment or piping network system.

On the P&ID tab, in the Pipeline group, click Change Ownership.

Branch

Use the branch functionality to associate selected centerlines on the drawing canvas with a different owning piping network segment.

The prompt Select target Centerline is displayed.

Click to identify the target centerline. The source centerlines are associated with the owning piping network segment of the target centerline.

The Pipeline Fluid Specification and Number attributes are propagated from the owning piping network segment to the associated centerlines.

Note:
Piping network segments that no longer contain any centerlines are deleted.

Pipe

Use the pipe functionality to associate selected centerlines on the drawing canvas with a different owning piping network system or trim pipe.

The prompt Select target Centerline/trim pipe system is displayed.

Click to identify the target centerline or trim pipe. The source centerlines are associated with the owning piping network system of the target centerline or trim pipe.

The Pipeline Fluid Specification and Number attributes are propagated from the owning piping network system to the associated centerlines.

Note:
Piping network systems that no longer contain any centerlines are deleted.
