When using the diagram view or grid view, select the Database Definitions properties pen to display the database definitions properties.

Use the Implementation Preferences functionality to select the preferred language and build location.

The Model Statistics, Data Types and Mapped Modules options work in the same way for the database definitions properties as they do for the conceptual model properties. Refer to Conceptual Model Properties for further information.

Preferred Language |
Select a preferred language from the drop down list. In this case, it will be used by the build model functionality to set names for the User Defined Elements (UDETs) and User Defined Attributes (UDAs) that are created. |
|
Build Location |
There is a limit to the number of User defined Elements (UDETs) and User Defined Attributes (UDAs) allowed in a single dictionary database and this is easily exceeded for a large conceptual model. A Database Set (DBSET) can be created in AVEVA Administration with several dictionary databases added (the recommendations is five). The DBSET is current on the Multiple Database (MDB) along with the conceptual model database. Select the DBSET from the drop-down list The build process uses as much of the set of databases as it needs to build the model. It is also prompted for on build if not set. Note: |
|
Clear Build Definitions |
Removes UDETs and UDAs from the database that are no longer used. For example, a related class has been deleted from the model. Note: |
