The following image depicts the AVEVA Unified Engineering workflow using AVEVA PRO/II Simulation.

Embedded Image (65% Scaling) (LIVE)

  1. AVEVA PRO/II Simulation user publishes a simulation.

  2. AVEVA Notification Service receives a notification and sends the notification to AVEVA Engineering. AVEVA Integration Service receives published data and AVEVA Engineering pulls data from AVEVA Integration Service while processing received notification.

  3. When the user acts to import data, AVEVA Integration Service Service provides data to the AVEVA Engineering user.

  4. Simultaneously, AVEVA Integration Service Service uses the AutoCAD 2D Gateway to convert .dxf files to .svg files.

  5. AVEVA AutoCAD 2D Gateway converts the .dxf files to .svg files.

  6. The AVEVA Engineering user imports the .svg files. Alongside, AVEVA Engineering creates objects for the elements in the simulation that can be used in the initial design.

  7. After the simulation data are available in AVEVA Engineering, the data can be transferred to 2D and 3D applications such as AVEVA E3D Design, AVEVA Diagrams and AVEVA P&ID and continue with detail design. The data can also be transferred to other AVEVA applications such AVEVA Engage, AVEVA ERM and AVEVA Asset Information Management (AVEVA AIM).
