Function:
Moves a Database (DB) to a different directory.
Description:
This command may be needed if disk space is a problem.
DBs can be stored in a different area, that is, a different directory from the Project directory. The directory must be created before the DB is created, and an environment variable set to the path name of the directory. For example:
|
xxxnnn |
set to |
pathname |
Here xxx is the Project Code, for example, abc, and nnn is a number, for example, 001. When the DB is created, the area number of the DB must then be set to the corresponding value (which in this example is 1).
In a Global Project, this command can only be carried out at the Hub. The area directories must exist at all Locations to which the DB is allocated.
Example:
|
MOVE DB HVAC/HVAC TO AREA 051 |
Command Syntax:
|
>--- MOve DB dbname TO AREA integer ---> |
