Linestyle Widths

The Linestyle Width Definition elements (LSWIDD) can be found under the Linestyle world (LSWL) under the STAT world. They define the THIN, MEDIUM and THICK widths of system defined linestyles used in the DRAFT module. Their current values can be queried in AVEVA Administration and other modules using the syntax:

Q LINEWIDTHS

There is no specialized syntax to create or edit these. To edit the existing definitions, navigate to the appropriate element and set the attribute LSWID to a value between 0.01mm and 2.0mm. The LSWKEY attribute should already be set on an existing element. For example:

LSWID 0.25mm

In projects upgraded from PDMS12.0 or earlier, the Linestyle world hierarchy may not exist (in this case default values will be used, which can still be queried using Q LINEWIDTHS). Standard syntax can be used to create it, for example:

/*S

NEW LSWL

NEW LSWIDD NAME /LSWL/LSWIDD_THIN LSWKEY 'THIN' LSWID 0.25mm

NEW LSWIDD NAME /LSWL/LSWIDD_MEDIUM LSWKEY 'MEDIUM' LSWID 0.35mm

NEW LSWIDD NAME /LSWL/LSWIDD_THICK LSWKEY 'THICK' LSWID 0.70mm

There is currently no UI available to edit these settings.
