Assign Teams

From AVEVA Unified Engineering 3.0, the team-discipline relationship is stored in the first writable Engineering database.

Note:
Existing team disciplines can be copied from AVEVA Administration. Refer to Copy Team Disciplines from AVEVA Administration for further information.

To define the team-discipline relationships, on the Rules tab, in the Disciplines group, click Assign Teams to display the Team disciplines window.

The Team disciplines window contains a list of teams. You can select a team and assign disciplines to it by selecting an available discipline and using the arrow buttons to move them across.

Teams

Select a team from the list, the available disciplines and selected disciplines display on the right hand side of the window.

Input a value in the Teams field to filter the list of teams.

Teams that have been renamed or deleted are greyed out.

Remove all obsolete

Removes greyed out teams from the project.

Available disciplines

Displays a list of available disciplines for the currently selected team.

Moves the currently selected item from the available disciplines list to the selected disciplines list.

Moves the currently selected item from the selected disciplines list to the available disciplines list.

Selected disciplines

Displays a list of selected disciplines for the currently selected team.

Set Primary

Specifies a selected discipline as the primary discipline.

The primary discipline is only used in interdisciplinary workflow projects (controlled object revision). The functionality helps to filter out unnecessary notifications and must be the main discipline in which the team works.
