Identify Functional Item Name using Process Flow Diagram

Prerequisite

• Create Process Flow Diagram Drawing.

• Open Process Flow Diagram.

  

• Open Functional Item Grid.

• Display Two Tabs Separated Vertically.

To identify functional item (FUNITE) on the grid name using the PFD drawing

1. In the Filter Criteria field of the Name column, enter :FUNSTREAM<SPACE> to display only the stream FUNITES.

   

2. On the FD_01 drawing, select a FUNITE, for example, S4.

   

   Highlights the appropriate stream in the FUNITE Grid.

   

3. In the Default Name fields, enter S4 to change the display name, too.

   

4. On the PFD drawing, press Esc to unselect the stream.

5. Repeat step 2 to 4 for every stream (FUNITE).

   The remaining descriptions fields are populated by S2 to S6.

   

   The display name allows you to identify the FUNITES in other areas easier.
