Identify Missing Simulation Classes

Prerequisite

• Import Notification with Preview From AVEVA Process Simulation.

To identify missing simulation classes

1. In the View tab, select the arrow on the Explorer icon to display the sub menu.

   

2. Select Grids to display the Grids Explorer.

   

3. View Notification.

4. Select the notification, for example, Cooling Water.

5. Click Preview & Import to display the Unit Operation Import window.

   

6. Compare the prepared grids and the classes to be imported.

   Only the pump grid is available to store the pump class data.

   

   Prepare View Definition Set for Simulation Grid and Create Simulation Grid for each missing class: Heat Exchanger, Mixer, Piping System and Stream Splitter.
