Cross-Tab Report

Creates a cross-tab report using a pivot grid.

1. Create a new report.

2. Bind the report to a data source.

3. On the Toolbox, select a Pivot Grid control.

   

4. Click on the Detail blank space to position the control.

   

5. Click the Smart tag symbol at the top-right of the control to display the Tasks window.

   

6. Select a valid data source from the Data Source drop-down list.

7. Click Run Designer to display the Property Editor.

8. Click the Fields tab and drag and drop the required fields from the Field List column to the Pivot Grid Fields column.

   

9. Click the Layout tab and modify the pivot grid layout by dragging and dropping the fields into the required order.

   

10. Click Close to close the Property Editor.

11. Click the Print Preview tab to display the result.
