Prepare Tag for Import

In the simulation application a unique name is defined within the Publishing Process for the simulation data, for example, in AVEVA PRO/II Simulation.

Note:
If the area number is not defined, the import will not be applied and an error message will be displayed in the status bar (bottom bar of the application window).

To prepare a tag for the import

1. Display Plant Area Grid for Import.

2. Define Plant Area Tag.

3. Select the Plant/Area 1 of.. row to highlight the row.

4. Click right mouse button to display the context menu.

5. Select Attributes to display the Grid Attributes (by default right side of the application window).

   

6. Select the Default Name entry.

   

7. Enter the name defined during the publishing process, for example, Plant Area 1 for AVEVA Process Simulation or Plant Area 2 for AVEVA PRO/II Simulation.

8. Press <Enter>.

A tag is created, for example, Area Plant 1 for the AVEVA Process Simulation. You can Publish Simulation using AVEVA Process Simulation to enable a notification in AVEVA Engineering.

If you create another tag on a second grid, you can Publish Simulation using AVEVA PRO/II Simulation to enable the import into another grid.
