Add Equipment

Equipment items, for example, pressure vessels, pumps or compressors, are added to the drawing canvas by dragging from the Symbol Palette, P&ID Explorer or directly from the grid.

Equipment items are positioned stand-alone on the drawing canvas. Equipment items can be associated with other equipment items as sub-equipment.

Connected Nozzles

Equipment items can be connected to nozzles.

The piping equipment can have nozzle value indicates the nozzles that are connected to an equipment item.

To display the piping equipment can have nozzle attribute, select the equipment item on the drawing canvas.

Open the Attributes window and navigate to the Piping Equipment can have Nozzle attribute.

Associated Trim Pipes

Equipment items can be associated with trim pipes.

The can have part trim annotation value indicates the trim pipes that are associated with an equipment item.

To display the can have part trim annotation attribute, select the equipment item on the drawing canvas.

Open the Attributes window and navigate to the Can Have Part Trim Annotation attribute.
