Object Selection and Object Snap Settings

Sets the default object selection, object snap, dynamic hint and anti aliasing options.

Selection Settings
Defines the way in which objects are selected.

Pickbox Size |
Specifies the display size of the pickbox. |

Grip Size |
Specifies the display size of the grip. |
|
Max number of Grips |
Specifies the maximum number of grips that can be displayed simultaneously. |
|
Single selection mode |
If the check box is selected, holding down Shift adds or removes selected objects. If the check box is not selected, holding down Shift does not add or remove selected objects. |
Object Snap Settings
Defines the snap marker size and aperture box size. Functionality is also available to specify the Grid Settings and Object Snap settings.

Snap Marker SIze |
Specifies the size of the snap marker. |

Aperture Box Size |
Specifies the size of the aperture box. |
|
Display snap aperture box |
If the check box is selected, the snap aperture box is drawn while specifying coordinates with the mouse. If the check box is not selected, the snap aperture box is not drawn while specifying coordinates with the mouse. |

Advanced |
Specifies the Object Snap settings and Grid settings. |
Dynamic Hints Settings
If the Animate dynamic hints check box is selected, hints with full opacity are displayed only when the an activity is not being carried out (for example, the mouse is not being moved).
If the Animate dynamic hints check box is not selected, hints are displayed at all times, regardless of the activity.
Anti-aliasing
If the Use anti-aliasing check box is selected, anti-aliasing is on.
If the Use anti-aliasing check box is not selected, anti-aliasing is off.
Context Editor Precision
Specifies the number of decimal characters displayed on the context editor. The default value is 0.
In the example, the Decimal precision is 2 which displays two decimal characters on the context editor.

Reset Configuration
Restores project configuration settings to their default settings.
