The results of the compare process will be displayed in the grid view. The Elements tab lists the elements matched against the selected source, along with the number of compared elements that have differences. The example shown below has instruments from AVEVA Schematic.

The Attribute Details tab lists the individual attribute differences for selected or all elements in the Elements tab.

Note:
If the results from AVEVA P&ID are blank, refer to Set up AVEVA P&ID to Connect with AVEVA Engineering and make sure all the steps have been taken.
The mapped attributes for a single element can be displayed by selecting the Side-by-Side View in the tab or toolbar. This view lists the target Database (DB) attributes along with the current values in the source and target DBs. The button has options to list All Mapped Attributes or Differences Only.

The Side-by-Side View grid is populated only if a single row is selected in the Elements grid. In the Side-by-Side grid, a right-click menu allows immediate copying of one or more values to the target DB.

Where the comparison includes a parent/child hierarchy, individual levels can be expanded or collapsed by clicking on the "+" and "-" cells.
The "+" cell will be colored to indicate when there are unmatched objects or attribute differences available to see by expanding child rows.
Where the comparison includes a logically deleted object matched to an existing object, the logically deleted object data will be displayed with a strike-through font.
