The Properties part of the Datasheet Template Editor window is populated with the attributes of the standard control, content or database view selected.

Properties of additional pages

To add a new page, select the New tab at the bottom of the template. In the Properties pane, select the page type from the Sheet Type field.

Optionally, you can edit the following properties for the new page:

Can Delete

Specifies whether the page can be deleted in instances of the datasheet created from the template.

Can Duplicate

Specifies whether the page can be duplicated in instances of the datasheet created from the template.

Can Hide

Specifies whether a page can be hidden in datasheet instances created from the template.

If Can Hide is True, then the sheet can be hidden in any datasheet. Else, the sheet remains visible, and the Hide and Unhide option is disabled.

The behavior of the Can Hide option depends on the selected Sheet Type.

Default

Can Hide is False by default, but you can enable or disable it.

Additional Page

Can Hide is automatically True and cannot be changed.

Front Page

Can Hide is automatically False and cannot be changed.

CoulmnCount

Specifies the number of columns of cells in the template and in datasheet instances created from it.

RowCount

Specifies the number of rows of cells in the template and in datasheet instances created from it.

Sheet Type

Specifies the type of sheet. You can select one of the following options.

Default

Can Delete, Can Duplicate, and Can Hide options are set to False. You can edit these options as required.

Additional Page

Identifies the sheet as an additional page. When selected, the Can Delete, Can Duplicate, and Can Hide options are set to True and cannot be changed.

Front Page

Identifies the sheet as a front page. If selected, the Can Delete, Can Duplicate, and Can Hide options are set to False and cannot be changed.

Default Print

Select False to enable these properties.

Orientation

You can select from Portrait or Landscape.

Page Size

You can select from A4, A3, executive, Legal, Letter, Tabloid, B4, and B5.

Scale %

You can specify the scale of the page when printed.
