A User System Defined Attribute (USDA) allows the administrator to change the behaviour of system defined attributes for selected element types. For example limits may be applied to attributes of top level elements within the software.
A USDA allows the administrator to add behaviour to system attributes:
-
Set valid values
-
Define limits
-
Hide attributes on windows
-
Category
The valid values and limits may be varied with element type. For a full explanation of the structure of a Dictionary database refer to Lexicon Database for further information.
