Use the Grid View to display the properties of a conceptual model, database definitions or conceptual view.
Functionality is available to add new objects, edit or delete them and search and filter the contents of the grid view window.
To add or delete an object, right click in the grid pane or use the buttons available for selection on the ribbon.

The icons across the top of the grid view are the views for the model.
Note:
Only the object properties and classes views are available when viewing a contextual
view.
Object properties can be viewed, selected or highlighted.

The object properties view shows all attributes and associations for item(s) that are currently selected or highlighted in the diagram.
Attributes are represented by an in-built association called Can Have As Attribute, while inheritance relationships are also shown using Sub Class Of. The in-built associations are not displayed in the Associations grid.
Multiple items can be selected on the diagram and displayed in this grid by either using shift + click, or using the options on the right click menu.
The name, discipline and other properties of an object can be edited in the grid. If displayed, the Properties window shows all details of the selected object on the grid.
The classes are the same objects that can that can be displayed in the diagram view. The other views show other types not appropriate to be viewed in the diagram view as they do not have relationships with one another.
