Alternate Filter Mode

If the Multi-select Filter Style check box is not selected, alternate filter mode is activated.

Click the icon that is displayed to the left of the cell and select a filter criteria from the drop-down list. For example, Starts with, Contains or Does not end with. The default value is Contains.

Type a value in the cell or select a value from a drop-down list using the arrow that is displayed to the right of the cell to filter the column.

The drop-down list contains every value in the column, plus Custom, Blanks and NonBlanks.

Select a value to display the individual record.
