Use the P&ID attributes for reducers to define the orientation, split point and arrow head options for the placement of reducers on P&ID Drawings. The functionality is available for symbols decorated with a reducer class.

Automatic orientation
Select No from the drop-down list to ignore the inlet and outlet bore size of the piping network segment when positioning the reducer.
Select Yes from the drop-down list to automatically position the reducer according to the inlet and outlet bore size of the piping network segment.
Note:
The big and small connection points must be set to orientate the inline item automatically
according to the flow direction.
Click Edit to display the Select points window.

Use the Select points window to specify the big and small connection points on the reducer. The big and small connection points are used to orientate the reducer to the larger and smaller bore sizes when added to the drawing canvas.
Note:
Set the Reflectable property of the SYTM element to Yes to enable automatic orientation switching of the symbol template. For example, when
the flow of the piping network segment is reversed.

Split
Select None from the drop-down list to disable the edit split point functionality.
Select Pipe from the drop-down list to split the piping network system and piping network segment when the reducer is added to the drawing canvas.
Select Branch from the drop-down list to split the piping network segment when the reducer is added to the drawing canvas.
Click Edit to display the Select points window.

Use the Select points window to specify the split point on the reducer. The split point determines which piping network segment includes the reducer when added to the drawing canvas.
Arrow Heads
Select Yes from the drop-down list to display arrow heads on the split centerlines when the reducer is added to the drawing canvas.
Select No from the drop-down list to omit arrow heads from the split centerlines when the reducer is added to the drawing canvas.
