Disciplines

Disciplines can be assigned to attributes to control access to sets of attributes by teams in the Engineer module. This is achieved using the database distributed attributes functionality. Each set of attributes assigned to the same discipline is defined on the same database element type. Refer to Attributes and Distributed Attributes for further information.

Disciplines are created in the grid view, using the New Object option, and can be modified using the Properties window.

If required, select the preferred language. Enter the name and description for the discipline.
