Lock the Project Database

The Project database can be locked by clicking Lock on the Home tab. Locking has no effect on users already accessing a project, but it does prevent other people from entering the project until the project is unlocked.

Locking the project may be necessary, for example, to allow a release of newly approved data or to incorporate new versions of the AVEVA base product modules.
