Execute Naming Rules

Execute Naming Rules is a migration utility to streamline the migration process for tags from existing projects to Name allocation manager.

The tags Migrator reads tag data from the project, sends it to NAM for executing the naming rule, allocates the name, and links the allocated name to the record in the Engineering database.

To perform this task, on the Rules tab, in the Tag Naming group, click Execute Naming Rules to display the Naming Rules Execution window.

If the execution has already been performed, then it will allow re-execution of naming rules.Click OK.
