Transfer configurations between projects (excel)

Use this feature to transfer existing configurations from one project to another.

Scope

Scope determines where configurations are stored and who can access them. When importing or exporting configurations, select the appropriate scope to control configuration visibility and sharing.

You can choose from the following scopes:

• Product: Stores configurations for a specific Engineering product. If you create configurations in UE 4.1, those configurations are not visible when you sign in using UE 5.0.

• Project: Stores configurations under a project code, such as EPT or APS. You can access these configurations when you access the same project.

• User: Stores configurations that only the creator can access. Database storage preserves strict user isolation.
