Modify Quick Label

To modify quick label text, double-click the label on the drawing canvas to display the Text Editor window.
Functionality is available to build intelligent text formulas for quick labels using the Intelligent Text Formula Assistant window.
Additional functionality is available to modify quick labels using the Graphic Properties window.

Frame visibility |
Select Yes to display the label frame. Select No to hide the label frame. |

Frame type |
Select By style to inherit the frame type from the visual style. Select Angular Rectangle to display an angular rectangle frame type.
The dynamic leader line attaches to the nearest frame vertex. The Frame sides visibility values are applied to the four sides of the frame. Select Circle to display a circular frame type.
The dynamic leader line attaches to the nearest point on the frame. Frame sides visibility values are not considered. Select Diamond to display a diamond shaped frame type.
The dynamic leader line attaches to the nearest frame vertex. The Frame sides visibility dual values are applied to a single frame side. For example, select Bottom Left to display the bottom left frame side. The Frame sides visibility single values are applied to two frame sides. For example, select Bottom to display the bottom left and bottom right frame sides. Select Rectangle to display a rectangular shaped frame type.
The dynamic leader line attaches to the nearest frame vertex. The Frame sides visibility values are applied to the four sides of the frame. Select Rounded Rectangle to display a rounded rectangle frame type.
The dynamic leader line attaches to the nearest frame vertex and the middle points of the frame arcs. The Frame sides visibility values are applied to the four sides of the frame. Select Triangle to display an equilateral triangle frame type.
The dynamic leader line attaches to the nearest frame vertex and the middle points of the frame sides. The Frame sides visibility values are applied in the following ways: Select Bottom to display the bottom frame side. Select Left Top to display the left frame side. Select Right Top to display the right frame side. Select Top to display the left and right frame sides. Select All to display all frame sides. |

Frame color |
Select By Style to inherit the label frame color from the visual style. Select By Layer to inherit the symbol frame color from the visual layer. Select from the dropdown list to define the color of the symbol frame. Alternatively, enter an RGB color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255. |

Frame line type |
Select By Style to inherit the label frame line type from the visual style. Select By Layer to inherit the label frame line type from the visual layer. Select from the dropdown list to define the label frame line type. |

Attachment point offset |
Select By Style to inherit the label leader line attachment point offset from the visual style. Select unset to define no attachment point offset for the label leader line. Select X 0mm Y 0mm and enter X and Y values to set the attachment point offset distance for the label leader line. |

Connection point offset |
Select By style to inherit the label leader line connection offset position from the visual style. Select Origin to position the label leader line connection to the base point on the label.
Select Standard to position the label leader line connection to the nearest standard position on the label.

Enter a value in the Frame Rotation field to define the rotation angle of the label frame. Note: |

Position |
Indicates the position of the label and leader line. Select You are prompted to Specify new position Identify the label position on the drawing canvas. |

XY position |
Indicates the position of the label frame. Select You are prompted to Specify new position Enter values in the dimension fields and press Enter or identify the label frame position on the drawing canvas. |

Terminator |
Select By style to inherit the terminator symbol from the visual style. Select from the dropdown list to define the type of terminator symbol used at the attachment point of the label leader line. |

Terminator size |
Select By style to inherit the terminator symbol size from the visual style. Enter a value or select from the dropdown list to define the size of the terminator symbol. |

Leader line color |
Select By Style to inherit the label leader line color from the visual style. Select By Layer to inherit the label leader line color from the visual layer. Select from the dropdown list to define the colour of the label leader line. Alternatively, enter an RGB color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255. |

Leader line type |
Select By Style to inherit the label leader line type from the visual style. Select from the dropdown list to define the label leader line type. |

Leader line clearance |
Select By Style to inherit the label leader line clearance from the visual style. Enter a value to define the gap size between the attachment point and the start of the label leader line. |

Leader line visibility |
Select Yes to display the label leader line. Select No to hide the label leader line. |

Leader line shape |
Select By Style to inherit the label leader line shape from the visual style. Select from the dropdown list to define the shape of the label leader line. For example, straight, bent or angled horizontal. |

Relative position |
Select Yes to move the label when a connected symbol is moved. Select No to retain the label position when a connected symbol is moved. |
|
Blanking |
Select By Style to inherit the blanking margin from the visual style. Set Blanking to On or Off to enable or disable blanking. Enter a value in the Blanking margin field to define the blanking margin. |

Box gap |
Select By Style to inherit the box gap from the visual style. Enter a value or select from the dropdown list to define the gap size between the text and label frame. |

Visual style |
Select from the dropdown list to define the visual style for the label. |
|
Layer |
Select from the dropdown list to define the layer for the label. |

Text character spacing |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the annotation text character spacing from the text visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the character spacing for the annotation text. |

Font width factor |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the font width factor from the text visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the font width for the annotation text. The width factor value is relative to the original font width. |

Line spacing |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the annotation text line spacing from the text visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the vertical line spacing for the annotation text. |
