As part of the design process, once bracing configurations have been created the bracing gaps may require adjusting. The bracing gap distance is measured from the bracing connection to a reference element.

You are prompted to Select bracing element
Click to identify a bracing element.
You are then prompted to Select bracing element or <Next>
The prompt is repeated, allowing you to identify multiple bracing elements in the bracing configuration.
Input N at the prompt and press Enter to specify the bracing.
You are then prompted to Select gap reference 1/2 (Diagonal)
Note:
The prompt indicates the number of bracing elements identified, the number of bracing
elements in the current bracing configuration and the bracing configuration type.
Click to identify all bracing elements in the bracing configuration.
You are then prompted to Select gap reference 2/2 (Diagonal) or <Next>
Input N at the prompt and press Enter to modify the bracing gap.
You are then prompted to Select gap to modify <Finish>
Click a bracing gap identifier to modify a bracing gap.
You are then prompted to Specify the gap
Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter to set the bracing gap distance.
You are then prompted to Select gap to modify <Finish>
You can continue to identify bracing gap identifiers and modify individual bracing gaps as required.
The bracing gap identification and gap modification process is repeated, allowing you to define multiple bracing gaps.
Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.
Throughout the bracing gap modification process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.
