Project Group

Open

Allows you to browse for and open a sheet. Refer to Open Sheet for further information.

Close

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Current Drawing

Allows you to close the current sheet, backing sheet and overlays. Refer to Close Drawing for further information.

All Drawings

Allows you to close all open sheets, backing sheets and overlays. Refer to Close Drawing for further information.

New

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Drawing Type

Allows you to create a new drawing sheet by selecting a drawing type and template. Refer to Create Drawing Sheet from a Drawing Type and Template for further information.

Quick Sheet

Allows you to create a new drawing sheet. Refer to Create Drawing Sheet from Quick Sheet Option for further information.

Visual Layers

Allows you to create and modify layers for the current drawing sheet. Refer to Create and Modify Visual Layers for further information.

View Group

Quick View

Allows you to create a plan view containing objects selected in the Model Explorer. Refer to Create Quick View for further information.

Advanced

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Location Defined

Allows you to create a marine specific view based on a physical or imaginary model plane. Refer to Create Location Defined View for further information.

Multi-Location

Allows you to create a marine specific view consisting of projections of the hull surface intersections using a series of planes. Refer to Create Multi-Location View for further information.

Expansion

Allows you to create a marine specific view of model elements that are unfolded from their curved shape into a flat form. Refer to Create Expansion View for further information.

Design

Allows you to create a new view containing an easily selected and managed list of objects with a specified view direction or scale. Refer to Create Design View for further information.

Projection

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Projection

Allows you to create a Projection view with a preview image of the view to be created. Refer to Create Orthographic Projection View for further information.

Quick Projection

Allows you to create a Projection view without a preview image of the view to be created. Refer to Create Quick Projection View for further information.

Detail

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Detail

Allows you to create a Detail view. Refer to Create Detail View for further information.

Location Defined Detail

Allows you to create a Location Defined Detail view. Refer to Create Location Defined Detail View for further information.

Section

Allows you to create a Section view. Refer to Create Section View for further information.

Basic

Line

Cloud

Circle Centre-Radius

Circle Centre-Radius

Circle Two-Points

Allows you to draw circles by specifying their diameters. Refer to Draw Circle with Two Specified Points for further information.

Circle Centre-Diameter

Allows you to draw circles by specifying their centre points and diameters. Refer to Draw Circle with Specified Diameter for further information.

Rectangle

Allows you to draw rectangles. Refer to Draw Rectangles and Diamonds for further information.

Diamond

Allows you to draw diamonds. Refer to Draw Rectangles and Diamonds for further information.

Triangle

Allows you to draw equilateral triangles. Refer to Draw Equilateral Triangles for further information.

Hexagon Two-Points

Allows you to draw hexagons by specifying their point to point diameters. Refer to Draw Hexagon with Specified Point to Point Diameter for further information.

Hexagon End-Point

Allows you to draw hexagons by specifying their centre to point radius. Refer to Draw Hexagon with Specified Center to Point Radius for further information.

Ellipse Axis-Edge

Allows you to draw ellipses by specifying the length of their axes. Refer to Draw Ellipse with Specified Length of Axes for further information.

Ellipse Centre

Allows you to draw ellipses by specifying the radius of the first axis and the length of the second. Refer to Draw Ellipse with Specified Radius of First Axis and Length of Second for further information.

Arc Angle

Allows you to draw arcs by specifying their centre points, start points and sweep angles. Refer to Draw Arc with Specified Center, End and Angle for further information.

Arc Three-Points

Allows you to draw arcs by specifying their start points, end points and through points. Refer to Draw Arc with Specified Start, End and Through Points for further information.

Elliptical Arc

Allows you to draw elliptical arcs. Refer to Draw Elliptical Arc with Specified Axes, Start and End Angle for further information.

Annotate Group

Orthogonal Chained

Allows you to add various types of linear dimension annotations. Refer to Add Linear Dimensions for further information.

Chained

Delete

Allows you to delete objects. Refer to Delete for further information.

Cut

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Cut

Allows you to cut objects. Refer to Cut Objects for further information.

Cut with Base Point

Allows you to cut objects. A base point is specified during the cut process. You must specify the new position for the base point during the paste process to determine the placement of the object(s). Refer to Cut Objects using Base Point for further information.

Copy

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Copy

Allows you to copy objects. Refer to Copy Objects for further information.

Copy with Base Point

Allows you to copy objects. A base point is specified during the copy process. You must specify the new position for the base point during the paste process to determine the placement of the object(s). Refer to Copy Objects using Base Point for further information.

Paste

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Paste

Allows you to paste objects. Refer to Move Objects and Copy Objects for further information.

Paste with Original Coordinates

Allows you to paste objects to a different drawing at the same position as the original. Refer to Move Objects and Copy Objects for further information.

Zoom Extents

Allows you to define the magnification of the drawing in the view. Refer to Zoom Options for further information.

Redo

Allows you to re-insert changes since the session was last saved. Refer to Undo and Redo Changes for further information.

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Redo

Select from the drop-down list to redo the last undone change. You can continue to redo undone modifications.

Redo Multiple

Select from the drop-down list to redo a specified number of undone changes, or a group of undone changes.

Redo All

Select from the drop-down list to redo all undone changes.

Undo

Allows you to remove changes since the session was last saved. Refer to Undo and Redo Changes for further information.

Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:

Undo

Select from the drop-down list to undo the last change. You can continue to undo previous modifications.

Undo Multiple

Select from the drop-down list to undo a specified number of changes, or a group of changes.

Undo All

Select from the drop-down list to undo all changes made since the last save.

Pan Realtime

Allows you to define the position of the drawing in the view. Refer to Pan Options for further information.

Display Group

Active Properties

Allows you to view and change the default properties that are applied to new objects when they are created, and to subsequently apply these properties to selected objects if required. Refer to Active Properties for further information.

Property Grid

Allows you to define object properties. Refer to Properties for further information.

Power Selector

Allows you to quickly select primitives or annotations based on filter criteria. Functionality is also available to select annotations based on the intelligent link to the 3D model. Refer to Power Selector for further information.

Tabbed View

Click to toggle the drawing display in tabs (the default format), or in windows.

Rep. & Hatch Rules

Allows you to create and modify representation and hatch rules. Refer to Create and Modify Representation and Hatch Styles for further information.

Object Snaps

Aids the positioning of objects by placing them relative to the geometry of existing objects. Refer to Object Snaps for further information.

Active Visual Styles

Allows you to set the default visual style for text, dimensions, labels, rulers, baselines, center lines, view frames, connectors, intelligent tables and symbols. Refer to Active Visual Styles for further information.

Update Group

Current Owner

Allows you to manually update the view for the current owner with any database or settings changes.

Note:
The changes are applied automatically if is set on the Status Bar.
