PCOM circular requirements

This topic describes the specification requirements for circular pipe (PCOM) components.

This component type does not exist in the AVEVA supplied Catalogue for Circular HVAC, but it can be implemented with the configuration described in this topic.

Unlike the PCOMs used for the PIPING discipline, the PCOMs for HVAC are limited to inline components that only have an arrive and leave connection. That means it is not possible to include an offline P3 connection.

The following requirements are in addition to the data references that are created for parameters.

** Where the Default value is set to a parameter, the Expression value must be set to the same parameter. This is applicable for all component types.

The following specification headings are required:

• Type (TYPE)

• Duct Shape (PSHA)

• Duct Width (PWID)

• Duct Height (PHEI) = 0

The Specific Type (STYP) can be used to differentiate between different PCOM types.
