Modify Intelligent Table Properties

An intelligent table can be modified using the Properties window. Refer to Properties for further information. A number of the properties are table specific.

Alignment |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text alignment from the table visual style. Select Center from the drop-down list to center align the table text. Select Bottom from the drop-down list to bottom align the table text. Select Top from the drop-down list to top align the table text. |

Char height |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text character height from the table visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the character height for the table text. |

Char spacing |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text character spacing from the table visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the character spacing for the table text. |

Font |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text font from the table visual style. Select from the drop-down list to define the font for the table text. |

Font oblique angle |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text font oblique angle from the table visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the oblique angle for the table text. A negative value positions the oblique angle to the left. A positive value positions the oblique angle to the right. |

Justification |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text justification from the table visual style. Select Left from the drop-down list to left justify the table text. Select Right from the drop-down list to right justify the table text. Select Center from the drop-down list to center justify the table text. |

Line spacing |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text line spacing from the table visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the vertical line spacing for the table text. |

Color |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table text color from the table visual style. Select By Layer from the drop-down list to inherit the table text color from the layer. Select from the drop-down list to define the color of the table text. Alternatively, enter an RGB color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255. |

Fill color |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the table fill color from the table visual style. Select By Layer from the drop-down list to inherit the table fill color from the layer. Select from the drop-down list to define the fill color of the table. Alternatively, enter an RGB color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255. |

Fill type |

Splitting direction |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the splitting direction from the table visual style. Select TopBottom from the drop-down list to position the split table below the original table. Select LeftRight from the drop-down list to position the split table to the right of the original table. Select BottomTop from the drop-down list to position the split table above the original table. Select RightLeft from the drop-down list to position the split table to the left of the original table. |

Splitting gap |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the splitting gap from the table visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the distance between the split table and the original table. |

Splitting rule |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the splitting rule from the table visual style. Select None from the drop-down list to disable table splitting. Select Height from the drop-down list to split the table using a maximum table height. Select Rows from the drop-down list to split the table using a maximum number of rows. |

Max rows count |
Select By Style from the down list to inherit the maximum number of rows before table splitting from the table visual style. Select Unlimited from the down list to disable table splitting. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the maximum number of rows before table splitting. |

Max height |
Select By Style from the down list to inherit the maximum table height before table splitting from the table visual style. Input a value in the field or select from the drop-down list to define the maximum table height before table splitting. |

Child tables header visibility |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the header row visibility for the split table from the table visual style. Select Off from the drop-down list to remove the header row for the split table from the display. Select On from the drop-down list to display the header row for the split table. |

Expansion direction |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the expansion direction from the table visual style. Select TopBottom from the drop-down list to add new rows to the bottom of the table. The header row is positioned at the top of the table. Select LeftRight from the drop-down list to add new rows to the right of the table. The header row is positioned at the left of the table. Select BottomTop from the drop-down list to add new rows to the top of the table. The header row is positioned at the bottom of the table. Select RightLeft from the drop-down list to add new rows to the left of the table. The header row is positioned at the right of the table. |

Resizing mode |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the resizing mode from the table visual style. Select Fill from the drop-down list to preserve the table height and width when rows or columns are added, deleted or modified. If there is no room to insert extra rows or columns, the table height/width is extended. Select Extend from the drop-down list to extend or reduce the table height and width when rows or columns are added, deleted or modified. |

Max. records count |
Input a value to define the maximum number of records displayed. The functionality only applies to intelligent tables connected to a data source definition. |

Row height adjustment |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the row height adjustment from the table visual style. Select On from the drop-down list to adjust the row height to the Column length value, if the cell text does not exceed the value. Select Off from the drop-down list to turn off row height adjustment. |

Header visibility |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the header row visibility from the table visual style. Select On from the drop-down list to include a header row in the table. Select Off from the drop-down list to exclude a header row from the table. Note: |
