Modify Bases

All the tasks associated with the modification of the base component element can be performed from the Modify Base + Screed window (or a similarly named modify window, dependent on the selected base component).

The materials, thicknesses, shape, position, orientation and connection can be modified the same way they are selected for creation. Refer to Create Base Screed Component for further information.

To modify the base component without modifying the base screed, select the Base Slab in the connections drop-down list at the bottom of the Building Applications window. The Modify Base window is displayed. The Modify Base window is used in the same way as for the floor slab.

To modify the base screed without modifying the base, select the Base Screed in the connections drop-down list at the bottom of the Building Applications window. The Modify Base Screed window is displayed. The Modify Base Screed window is used in the same way as for the floor screed.

To confirm the modification, click Apply. The contour of the base screed is modified to be the same as the base slab.

To create a new base with the same parameters, click Repeat. The Create Base + Screed window is then displayed.

Click Dismiss to close the Base + Screed Modification window.

If the AVEVA E3D Design is used to change the base, click Refresh to display the current attributes.
