The Route Node Create Tasks window can be used as an dual purpose window, which allows the Creation of a new route node or the Modification of an existing route node.

Cableway Branch

The currently selected cableway branch in the model explorer is displayed.

Current Element

The currently selected element in the model explorer is displayed.

Route Node Name

Enter a name for the Route Node Name element or the name can be automatically generated using the Autonaming icon to the right of the text box.

General Attributes

Defines the description, function and purpose for the route node.

Route Node Type

Use to select the route node type:

Takeoff - here

Defines the node from which the cable can leave or enter the cableway.

Gap

Defines the node which forces a gap to be left between the cable tray material and is positioned at the centre point of the gap. Gap (YOffset), defines the gap size default is 0mm.

Offset

Use this node to position transit glands and fittings.

Penetration

Use this node to hold references of penetrations.

Report

Use this node to report information (such as passing cables) from any position along the branch.

Positioning

Defines the position of the route node on the cableway branch.

Reference Point

Select a reference point from the drop-down menu (the Offset Distance is automatically populated) or select Pick, a prompt to Pick on the segment which RNODE should be placed is displayed.

Offset Distance

Input an offset distance in the Offset Distance box or select Pick a prompt to Pick to define position (Snap) Snap is displayed.

Move Distance

To increase or decrease the Offset, select the appropriate arrow either side of the Move Offset box.

Note:
When using the Move Offset and Proportional Distance functionality on Cableways with bends, the offset is measured from the edge of the bend rather than the Reference Point.

Proportional Distance

Enter a proportional Distance.

X Offset

Enter an X axis offset.

Z Offset

Enter an Z axis offset.

Gap (Y Offset)

Reserves a space between cable trays. Enter the required distance.

References

The References part of the Route Node Create Tasks window defines.

Connection

Allows a Route Node to be connected to a Control Node. Clicking Pick displays the Select CNODE window.

Specification

Enter a specification or select Choose to display the Choose Route Node window, from which a specification can be selected.

Select the Mark Route Points checkbox to display the route point labels on the 3D view.

List Associated Cables

To display associated cables, select List Associated Cables to display the List of Cables window, listing all the associated cables.

The new route node is a created and displayed the Model Explorer. The position of the created routed node on the cableway branch is shown in the 3D view.

Mark Route Nodes

Displays the route nodes on a cableway network and identifies their position in the 3D view.

Select which set of route nodes to display in the Mark Route Nodes window.

Mark Selected

Use to select individual route nodes.

Unmark Selected

Use to unmark selected individual route nodes.

Mark All

Use to select all route nodes in the list.

Unmark All

Use to de-select all the route nodes in the list.

The list of Route Nodes displayed is divided into the following columns:
