For most standard profiles, there is a direct mapping of the Staad Pro table name to the equivalent AVEVA E3D Design specification reference. The mappings are stored in the mapping file:

On export, AVEVA E3D Design ISECTs with a specification reference value of /BS-UB254x102x25 are output with a member property of UB254X102X25 in the STD file.

On import, any members with a property value of UB254X102X25 are created as an ISECT with a specification reference of /BS-UB254x102x25.

Some profiles can have their geometry defined by parameters. These profiles must be setup with User Provided Tables (UPTABLEs).
