Creating a Model World

When the application first loads it looks for all APPLDWs with the purpose set to APSI and if none exist, the a message is displayed in the Process Simulation Interface window Please Create a new Storage area

From the Process Simulation Interface window, in the Data Storage World pane , select the 'green plus' icon, the Storage Area Name window is displayed and enter a name for the model world.

Once the model world has been created the name is displayed in the Data Storage World pane.

Note:
Multiple model worlds can be created at this point if required but selecting one in the list moves to the next selection phase which is to build a simulation group.

Once the model world is selected from the Data Storage World pane, the Process Simulation Interface window is displayed as follows.

In the Simulation Group pane of the Process Simulation Interface window a message is displayed - Please Create a new Simulation Group, refer to Simulation Groups for further information.
